why i do what i do
My story is pretty simple. For almost 20 years now I have been homeschooling my four blessings (and a few others along the way).
And no regrets – not even the really hard moments!
Although my homeschooling years are coming to an end, my passion for exciting a love for learning in others has only grown stronger.
With some pretty wonderful opportunities that crossed my path, I am now excited to be able to continue to nurture a love for learning in others through piano lessons and music theory club classes.
With my classical piano training, Suzuki piano teacher training, certification as an Ultimate Music Theory Teacher, a UMTC Elite Educator, teaching homeschool co-ops (kindergarten – high school), leading worship, intentionally and creatively nurturing a musical environment in our home, amidst homeschooling for the past 20 years, opening a music studio was a natural next step!
So, I look forward to coming alongside you on your musical journey! My desire, through the means of piano lessons and music theory, is to help you or your child grow, learn and then pass the music on to others.
