The main resources I use are:

For piano – Piano Safari (a holistic reading approach that engages the eyes, the ears and musical creativity), as well I add in an eclectic array of supplemental pieces, composing and improvising resources, music games, sight reading resources and supplies based on needs and learning style of student.

For theory – Piano Safari Theory, Thinking Theory, Royal Conservatory of Music Theory as well as The Ultimate Music Theory are used depending on the level of the student. These resources are time tested, step-by-step systems providing comprehensive theory study which prepares the student for improvement in playing, singing, taking theory exams, as well as college or university studies – if desired. These reources, when taught by a certified teacher, focus on teaching to different learning styles in order for each student to maximize their learning time.

For piano – classes available for beginning students of any age.

For theory – there are placement tests to determine which theory level is best.

No, they are based on which level the student will be studying, and also take into consideration how comfortable the student is depending on potential age differences. I do offer adult classes as well.

Fees are dependent upon the length, the type (piano or theory), and if lesson is private or a group lesson. Please connect with me for details.
